We have three staff vacancies in our Mountain Bike shop based in South Croydon, one in the main shop and the second in our mail order department. Both are full time positions, Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week.

Bike Plus is a retailer specialising in MTB, Touring and Commuting bicycles and accessories. We are looking for sales staff who are enthusiastic and have a passion for cycling.

Shop Sales Assistant: We are looking for a keen rider with good sales skills, and the ability to work within a team. The main job description will be working on the shop floor, product sales, maintaining store appearance, processing deliveries, maintaining stock levels, assisting in placing orders with suppliers and merchandising. Experience welcome.

Bike Mechanic (Bike Plus):We are looking for a motivated and experienced mechanic to be part of a small team in a busy store that sells a wide variety of mountain, touring, and commuting bikes. Undertaking bike build up, servicing and repair work, and the day to day booking in and running of the workshop diary.

Will be working mainly on mountain bike (mid to high end specification); must be familiar with suspension systems & hydraulic brakes. Will also be working on Brompton folding bikes and Van Nicholas Titanium.

Previous experience working in a cycle workshop preferred. Cytech trained where possible, but mechanical / engineering workshop experience considered. Training will be available, but must be a quick learner able to use own initiative, and work to tight deadlines.

Must have a keen interest in mountain biking and MTB products and some knowledge of all forms of cycling essential. Will need good people skills, the ability to communicate technical aspects to customers in store and on the phone

Applicants must have good literacy and numeric skills, works well in a team or alone, the ability to work on computers plus the ability to learn new systems.
